This exclusive demonstration is led by Bas van Haaren and Peter Remmelzwaal, a strong and complementary team combining international gelato expertise with top‑level pastry and chocolate craftsmanship.
Bas van Haaren, Global Gelato Consultant, grew up in his parents’ pastry shop in the Netherlands and discovered his passion for artisanal gelato at an early age. After gaining hands‑on experience in Italy and completing his studies at the Carpigiani Gelato University in Bologna, Bas built an international career as a gelato consultant and educator. Today, he supports both start‑up and established businesses worldwide in developing recipes, concepts and profitable gelato offerings.
He is joined by Peter Remmelzwaal, in‑house chef at Veliche Gourmet Chocolate, who brings a strong culinary and pastry background and recently qualified for the finals of the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie with TeamNL, highlighting his technical excellence and creative vision.
